Summer Writers' Workshop

2008 Yoknapatawpha Summer Writers’ Workshop

June 6-8

10 Reasons

Write in Oxford, Mississippi, the town that William Faulkner made famous. This summer, the University of Mississippi is hosting a three-day summer creative writing workshop in fiction and poetry. Find out why so many authors live and write here!

The program features everything from workshops to lectures on craft, panel discussions, book signings and readings and southern catfish at its finest.

Featured faculty include fiction writers Jere Hoar, Scott Morris, M.O. Walsh, and storyteller Rebecca Jernigan.

WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES:

The Yoknapatawpha Summer Writers’ Workshop is designed to give and fiction and creative non fiction writers experience in the art of writing.
